Till they are done! and then they can be tender every month too. It can be a long process. Take some ibuprofen or something like that if its painful and just wait it out.

well they will hurt always when they get bumped...especially when PMSing... and they will hurt extra till you are done developing...and it takes 2-6 years to fully develop them
