its possible your body is just changing.. if you want to regulate your period you can try taking birth control pills.. that usually helps.

Have you changed your diet or taken new medications recently? these things can affect your period
sometimes your cycle just changes. it always happens to me when i go overseas.

Irregular periods..please help!?

i normally get my periods earlier than last months' date but this time i got them 12days earlier...i'm worried .is it normal?
and after two days it stops and it restart after a days,it happens to me every monthIrregular periods..please help!?
Irregular periods can happen due to many reasons. it usually happens when an individual is in early adolescence. The body is still adjusting to the hormonal activity. other reasons could be genetic make up. stress and hormonal imbalance.
your question does not mention your vital information about your age, location, body type etc. to conclude whether your condition is normal or abnormal. To be safe, just visit a gynec nearby and get your self checked. mail me for more details atiq_masw@yahoo.com
e mail my dad he is a doctor
was_popn@yahoo.com
go see your doctor right away, definitely not normal.
Could be a hormone thing. The Dr. can give you meds to get you straightened out. I had the same problems years ago and was put on birth control pills for it. I thought that strange, but they did the trick. Good luck.
it could be hormonal, stress of your body is just changing seek the doctor.. I know that birth control pill will help.
Birth control is given when a woman has irregular periods. See your gynocologist.

Irregular periods. Serious answers please?

My periods are very irregular. The time inbetween bleeding ranges from 1 week to almost 2 months . I've had my period for about 6 years now so shouldn't it be regulated by now? And when they do come they are quite painful and heavy, and last from 3 days to 2 weeks. What could be wrong with me?Irregular periods. Serious answers please?
Possibly absolutely nothing.
Most women are not as regular as clockwork on their own, and some are never even somewhat regular. This only becomes a problem, though, if and when you are trying to conceive.
However, you period should never be painful. For that reason, see your gp to discuss these problems, and ask if you should be referred to a GYN. Most GP's, however, can handle far more problems that people tend to want to believe.
I've had problems like that before and I went to the doctor and was put on some medication to help regulate everything and for the last 2 months, it's worked out well. I would suggest seeing a doctor and they should be able to get it regulated for you.
You should try talking to your doctor about birth control pills. They can regulate your cycle and reduce the amount of pain with periods. Also, check out endometriosis online. I suffered for years not knowing I had this and the symptoms are similar.

Irregular Period?

I went to the gyno and got my blood drawn but when she asked me if i was sexually active i was too embarrassed to tell her that i masturbate since i was 9. Does this have an affect? If so is it dangerous?Irregular Period?
masturbation and being sexually active (as in having intercourse) are two totally different things. Trust me, she doesnt care if you masturbate, nor does she need to know.
No, it's not dangerous you have nothing to fear about your health..as you get older your periods will get regular..your hormones will balance out.
nope it has no effect. she doesnt need to know & it wont effect the tests

Irregular Menstrual Bleeding?

My period has never been normal (it doesn't come at the same time every month). But when it does, it starts with a heavy flow and diminishes after 4-5 days. This month, I've had spotting on and off. It's very minimal and my period has never been like this. I have no pain or discomfort. I'm not experiencing cramping.
Does anyone know if this is normal? Has anyone experienced this?Irregular Menstrual Bleeding?
Like the other person said it could be ovulation. Nothing is wrong with irregular menstrual bleeding, most women are not on time. And spotting can be normal too if there is not a lot of cramping with it. If you have heavy periods and severe cramping get checked out for endometriosis.
You might just be ovulating. Sometimes you experiece light spotting during this time, and I've had it happen to me before. But it could be something else, so you might want to talk to your mom or your doctor.

Irregular Bleeding and bad cramping while on birth control??

I was put on birth control to control my bleeding. This afternoon, out of nowhere, in the middle of my month of pills, I started bleeding moderately (I'm not bleeding massively, bt it's bright read and clots) I am also cramping badly. So bad I'm doubled over. I also had sex earlier today. It wasn't anything crazy so I don't think anything was punctured or anything. What should I do. Is this something that can wait until my doctor's appt on the 21st?Irregular Bleeding and bad cramping while on birth control??
Birth control does have side effects of irregular bleeding and even cramping especially during the first three months while you are still adjusting to the pill or if you are using menstrual supression. I think it would be a wise idea to call your doctor's office tell them what's going on and get advise as to whether or not you can wait or if they want to see you right away.
Because you are just starting out on the pill it can take time to adjust to being on it. One of the symptoms that can occur from this is breakthrough bleeding (which is bleeding that can act a lot like a menstrual period).
I would go ahead and call your dr to let them know what is going and see if they want you to still wait til the 21st or come in sooner.

Iron suppliment in periods...??

i took my normal advised doasge of normal n got my periods the same nite thn the next day i took again the normal dosage n wat happend next is tht my periods stopped n i dnt see any bleeding...no symptoms of periods now...wat do i do now.m i in trouble or wat shud i do now...?/Iron suppliment in periods...??
The supplement should not effect your period. Sometimes you will just stop bleeding in the middle of your period, this is totally normal and healthy.
I agree with Tiff. A period is not generally a steady flow from day 1 until the end. Also, iron "thickens" the blood, so an increased amount of iron can cause your period to be less liquidy. I am very anemic, for example. I take iron just before and during my period to make it more regular. I can tell a big difference when I take it. My flow doesn't last as long and it isn't as thin. Don't worry, but if you must...call your doctor.
