I'm on antibiotics, so what can I do to prevent yeast infections?

I'm eating 2 yogurts a day because I take 2 pills a day. What else can I do to prevent yeast infections? Does eating sugary foods make you more prone to getting yeast infections?I'm on antibiotics, so what can I do to prevent yeast infections?
drink a lot of cranberry juice, and keep up with the yogurt, most MD's are aware of the potential of a yeast infection are will usually call in a prescription without seeing them if you get one...good luck :)
take lactobacillus acidophilus pills (found at any vitamin shop). they 100% work and save you alot of grief... i get a yeast infection if i even look at antibiotic so i've become the master at research in preventing them before they start..
Lots of cranberry juice but not just any kind. Forget the Ocean Spray brand and the blends. Go to the natural foods section of your grocery store and a spend a little more on the 100% cranberry juice. ( Knudson Brand is very good if available )The taste is not so good but it will do more good then any of those other watered down pre sweetened juices will ever acomplish. Yes, i am aguy but after living with sisters and girlfriends with the same problem you get to know a thing or two.
Also don't forget the underwear of the light cotton variety. Gotta let it breath or it could counter act.. Toss the thongs baby , this ain't Woodstock .
go to your local health food store, and pick up some Probiotics. Those have the same type of things as yougurt but at very high concentrations. If you are near a Whole foods, go there, the employees are really helpful and knowledgeable.
Really tight jeans can also sometimes cause yeast infections.
