If u DON'T ovulate do you still get cramps?

if a person doesnt release an egg do they still get cramps around the time their period would be due?If u DON'T ovulate do you still get cramps?
If you get your period after you don't ovulate, yes you could still get menstrual cramps, because in order to shed your endometrium the uterus contracts, and these are what women experience as menstrual cramps.
The cramps are from your uterus passing blood clots. If you don't ovulate, you don't usually get your period.
I did
If you don't ovulate due to being on the birth control pill, but you still get a period, you can still get cramps with your period. If you don't get a period, then you won't have cramps.
