Any minute or any day now. Or maybe not at all. Periods can be weird like that sometimes.
I don't know about everyone, but for me, I will usually start to really flow within about 12 hours of first noticing the spotting, but that was a few years ago, I have been on BC for a while now, and well I can tell you almost to hour that I will start my period.
It depends, is this your first time spotting? I don't know how old you are, so this will be hard to answer. If you've never had a period, you could be having your first one RIGHT NOW! :D My first one came when I was 12, and it was only some spotting for a few days. If you're older, and have had a few periods and now you're only spotting, it could be stress. I would always spot for about 24 hours before my period really got going. Or, if you're sexually active, there could be something else going on, like pregnancy or an STD of some kind. Talk to someone you trust, (if you don't want to talk to your mom) like an older friend or someone's sister or mom who has had periods for a while. You'll be fine!
